It's illegal to kill sloworms in the uk as they are protected by law.It's also stupid as they are one of the best slug predators around. The modern name sloworm is actually a corruption of the old English " slug worm" they are actually a legless lizard and have eyelids unlike a snake.any one wishing them harm is very welcome to visit the shack as I can always use the compost!
