I see it all the time Cucumber all female flowers or take of the male flowers. Pumpkins squashes male flower female flowers.

How to tell the male from female what am I looking for is the male well endowed does the female have a little penny covering her modesty

    Please advice.

The male flower is the guy with all the pollen and the female flower doesn't have any pollen. But then you get some flowers that are male AND female. Some of these will pollinate themselves, like French beans, some produce pollen before the female bits (stamen) are ready for it and so still need to be pollinated by pollen from another flower, like runner beans.

THEN - some plants have both male and female flowers, like squash, or hazel, but there's also plants that have EITHER male flowers OR female flowers, like holly.

      Confusing ain't it?

Squash family are easy, the female has the baby fruit under the flower, whilst the male is just a long swanky stalk with a flower on top.
Toms help themselves, as do sweet corn,
It's the cucumbers that i find gets confusing,i just stick to all female varieties,
I think the best way if your not sure is,look up what particular plant you want to grow, and ask again about that percific plant.
Some like aubergines look the same, but need the pollinator to visit so they swap with each other,or use a little brush and stroke each one,so the pollen gets swapped,it can be very confusing,i am still learning,

This pic is quite obvious. The male has only the stem & flower where as the female has stem, ovary (fruit) & flower.

MOM wouldn't be a MOM without knowing the difference between male and female "bits"
