What to fill an incomplete row with?

Hi all, I planted my shallots and garlic out yesterday but rather than do blocks like last year I've done rows. Only thing is, the number of sets and cloves I had didn't fill two complete rows each, I've got one and a bit of each. Obviously the remaining part of a row is a waste of space (apart from triggering my OCD tendencies that it's not neat and tidy complete rows) so what can I plant to use the space? Was thinking radish or something that I'd usually cram in somewhere. Any better ideas? All advice gratefully received!

How about other Alliums like spring onions or chives.

Carrots? I read somewhere that growing carrots and onions near each other deterred carrot fly. Maybe just some teeny tiny ones for pulling early and having a baby sweet ones?

Or spring onions, that sounds nice. Or maybe a different kind of onion - red ones?

Keeping on the Allium theme, how about some Leeks. Or a bag of Onion sets.

Thanks all, there'll be maincrop onions and leeks going in the bed in due course but have been and bought a packet of spring onion seeds to use to fill all the gaps, il begin to sow these in a month or so. Never grown spring onions before so didn't cross my mind to do those to fill the rows. Thanks again for the advice.

You could sow a block of them at the end of the rows
