Tomatoes green about the gills

I put my 20 cm high tomato plants out in the sun yesterday to start acclimatising them. I went to do the same today (it's very, very hot today). I noticed that some of the leaves had turned a bit pale. Is this due to the heat, do you think? Any other suggestions?

It's probably the heat and direct sun. Put them in the shade and they should be OK.
