Should I put all the long grass in a compost bin or burn it? I'm going to make one out of pallets.

Personally I believe in composting absolutely everything; that top growth contains all those lovely minerals and nutrients that the weeds etc have taken out of the soil. I don't want to take them offsite (either in bags or in smoke) only to have to replace them with expensive manures and fertilizers.

You will find other opinions on here though...
