Brassica tunnel spacing advice

So... I know the basics of your water-pipe-braced -with-canes brassica tunnel, but the space I want to use is just over 5ft by 9ft.

One long/wide tunnel down the bed? Or two 4ftish wide ones across it???

Brassicas as in summer cabbage or over-wintering sprouting broccoli?

That is, low brassicas or tall ones?

The hoops restrict the height you get at the edges.

I put mine on top of poles so the bend starts higher up.

This is a pic of a 4.5ft by 10ft bed I've just done. It it around 4ft tall in the middle.

Cool, thanks! Is there a way of working out what length of pipe you need for each hoop, or is it trial and error? I'm not very handy.... ;-)

As you can see I have tied the hoop at the semi circle springing point and about 100- 150mm above the ground and have 3 longitudinal ties one being at the crown of the arch, and I've braced it with an off cut of blue tube longitudinally as well

If the beds are wider - re do the math using the width of the netting you are going to buy or do what I did and use two nets both fixed at the crown of the arch.

It still needs fine-tuning and tidying, and it's by no means regular or neat, but it went up a treat.

I presume I need to close up the line of holes that are for scaffolding fixing?

(You will also note I have far too many brassicas for the space...
