Fr33 Paving slabs - where to get?

Im after some paving slabs for a shed base at my new allotment.

Im on a real budget, where is best place to try and get some free ones?

I think they are hard to find and are snapped up quite soon. Often peeps will sell them rather than give them away. Best bet us all the usual sites preloved, local paper etc.

Ask at merchants what they do with chipped and cracked ones. Keep an eye open for people doing work (skips) and ask.

Have a look at the previously mentioned sites, as well as local f@cebook sites too - if there's none on offer, ask!

Keep an eye on Freecycle all the paving slabs I have on plot 23B have come off freecycle So far I have enough for a central path 20m long and for the base of the greenhouse and shed which is 5.4m x 2.4m see

If the car had not been in for repair another 40 number 450x450 were up a couple of days ago and I would have gone after them as well.

I asked on my local village fb page, and got two lots offered. Ok I wouldnt have them in my garden, but for on the allotment they are fine. For the price of petrol and several trips to collect them, im well pleased.
