Grape advice please!

More newbie plot holder questions I'm afraid...

My plot has a grapevine at the back - growing up the shelter bit and into a conifer tree. There are teeny little green grapes on it, as per photo. I'm toying with the idea of pruning it and training it along the fence but have some questions.

Does vigorous pruning cause problems for vines?
Is there any top tip to growing vines that I really should know?
Am I ever likely to get edible grapes off it?

DONT PRUNE IT NOW!!! Hard pruning won't hurt it but you must wait until it is dormant before you cut it. It has obviously been left to do its own thing. They are very vigorous plants and need to be kept under control. Edible grapes, that depends where you are.

Early on in the season thin out the grapes on each bunch,that'll give the remaining ones time to swell,our summers aren't long enough for all of them. By thinning them & the grapes swelling,the seeds inside will swell too so they appear to be seedless.
