New Allotment holder in Aberdour, Fife

Hi,

I got round to visiting the allotment today.

Here's what awaited me:



Bit of a mess.

After a few hours work.



Didn't appreciate how deep dock leaves go!

It's a start!

Day 2.

I've built a couple of raised beds and filling them with the lovely compost left by the previous holder.



Had to pull up some slabs as I felt they were taking up too much space.

Going to have the same size beds at the other side with a central path running down the middle.

Discovered some rhubarb growing up the back. Strawberries and Raspberries too. Need to thin out the strawberries though.
