I grow Alicante and Moneymaker. This year both have hardly any branches, meaning a minimum amount of trimming etc. BUT I have an abundance of fruit, strange.

Up to yet I've only removed the leaves below tom trusses, but seeing as we hardly had any sunshine I'm going to be taking of more leaves soon.Last edited by Bren In Pots; 16-08-2017, 07:20 PM.Location....East Midlands.

^^ Lovely looking fruit, Slappy. Not sure if you do this, but I'd separate a few out and put them with an apple (or other ripe tomato) as the gas given off by the apple helps them to ripen.
Mine are looking a bit sorry for themselves, to be honest. There are too many plants this year (Mr Snoop's enthusiasm and a gift from a friend). Am thinking of uprooting the Cuor di Bue, which are looking surprisingly sorry for themselves, just to save water and effort.
