get me and my luxury ways...
I have got some second-hand paving slabs to go round my shed. Aim is to keep weed growth down and have some space to store things not on soil.
We aren't allowed to lay concrete at the allotment.
I am currently planning to lay them on the ground with a layer of black polythene underneath them as weed-control.
Factors I can think of
leveling ground to avoid rocking slabs
ensuring a fall away from the shed to stop rainwater pooling
removing any shapr stones that will tear the membrane
anything else I need to think about?
