Hi does anybody know of any allotments that accept Chickens or Quails in Newport South Wales area? Thanks in advance.

Hi thanks for the reply i tried CaePerllan Road Allotment but they don't allow poultry

How many chooks/quail do you have?

I haven't purchased any yet but looking to have 5 or 6 max

Do you have anywhere at home for them?
If they're on an allotment you need to be able to check on them daily, preferably twice daily. If you can't do that, its best to forget it.

Unfortunately my Garden is too small. I work part time in the Royal Gwent Hospital so I could easily attend twice a day if there was an Allotment that accepted Poultry somewhere near

None of the Newport Council allotment sites allow poultry.

Last i heard they were quite expensive for a years rent
