The river Trent is lovely, I know because I have walked on it for 18 years.

Hi, I am new to this site. My allotments are in Dorchester on Thames Oxfordshire. An old Saxon site. They are about 9 miles from my house. Closest we could get with out a long waiting list.

Mines just at the bottom of my garden.

I would love to have my own allotment but wouldn’t really get enough time to spend attending its needs, working unsociable hours gives me limited time to do most things I enjoy doing, Plus I have heard loads of bad things happening on allotments like property and crops been destroyed, crops been stolen or vandalised, arson attacks, sheds been broken in to, the list is endless and heart breaking.
It’s so unfair for people who "spend long hours of hard work" tending to plots to arrived and find them ruined.

So for now I have made a small veggie plot big enough for me to spend time attending its day to day needs.

Mines in Yorkshire too, we've been on there for three years and nothing bad has happened. Snake, my Ole Nan was from Donny, and she could make anywhere beautiful.
