Congratulations! There's nothing quite like a new allotment - all that potential. The grass is long, but from what I can see there are no real nasties there. Just do a little at a time and cover the rest and you'll be winning in no time.
Into each life some rain must fall........but this is getting ridiculous.
Hi Shirley, yes you can have as many seeds as I can find, Im hoping to get down sometime this weekend if the rain holds off
Will let you know when I find some.
If anyone else would like some Teasel plant seeds just let me know.
Thankyou everyone for the tips & advice sure will use them - black plastic sheeting /cardboard boxes anything to cover the ground will start saving

If you dont live far i have some black terran (railway termanoligy) for membrane we use at work before we put the new track down grate stuff if its any use to you ?
Congratulations, it will be a challenge but worth it. Cover it with terran and gradually dig bit by bit. Potatoes are good for clearing the ground. I have two plots and an extra strip I have just taken over. I love it, totally addicted.
