  • Allotments in Stafford

I'm moving to Stafford in a couple of weeks, and don't know the area

Anyone know of any Allotments or could point me in the direction of web contacts etc.

I've looked on the Council website (and emailed them) but nothing.

    Thanks
    Frank

There's an unwritten law which says that allotment officers are not allowed to answer emails or return calls left on answer machines - keep phoning until someone picks up or write a 'proper' letter, otherwise they'll hide from you forever.
Into each life some rain must fall........but this is getting ridiculous.

          Hi guys,

I too live in Stafford and would love an allotment...

How much do they cost? I have heard people quote stupidly small amounts like £5 a year (unless i imagined that) and then others quote hundreds...

Don't think I could afford one if it costs loads with the way things are...

Thanks firstimer1, have just e-mailed the council to see what's available.

Having read other threads on here, looks like I might be in for a long wait.
