Allotment around Uxbridge?(Middlesex)

Me and the fiance are pulling up the roots and moving to the UK, and we are planning to find somewhere to live around the Uxbridge area. Is there any allotments in that area and what is the chances of getting one? Do I need to get on the waiting list now(moving in June)?

Used to live in Uxbridge, but don't seem to recall ANY lotties!!
Most of us had fairly big gardens. Sorry.
