Hi, my son and his partner are looking for an allotment in wimbledon. Just wondered if anyone on the vine has knowledge of any and, if so ,what are they like, eg water supplies etc?

Hi,
There are lots of people waiting for allotments in Wimbledon and the waiting times are at least 4 years. That's why some of us have got together to form the Wimbledon 'Grow Your Own Food' Group. We're looking at the options to see how more people can get access to land and plan to approach the council with a few suggestions. Right now, we're trying to build a network of people who want to be able to grow their own. The more people that we can bring together the more likely we will be to achieve something.
