help in finding an allotment

hi all were new members here and we are searching in vain to find an allotment in the leicestershire area,have our names on a few waiting lists but sound like long waits.

we are living in coalville leicestershire and certainly do not mind if we have to travel any help from you all would be great

How far is far? I know there are a couple of sites in Hinckley/Burbage and some in the villages out your way. Try sending a PM to Pigletwillie he may know of others out your way but they're getting awfully popular we've had 20 people join our waiting list this year!

There are some allotments in Thringstone/Whitwick next to he main road

Are there any "parish" councils in the Thringstone/Whitwick/Coalville area that you could try?
Sometimes parish councils have allotments.
Also try Leicestershire County Council.
