The river Trent is lovely, I know because I have walked on it for 18 years.

Yes, these seem to be the only allotments for the town, but as you can see it is only a small area and every inch of space is filled. I tried to get information from Leeds council about getting on the waiting list, but I kept getting passed from department to department and ended up getting nowhere! Thank you everyone for looking for me, I'm interested in the allotments in Boston spa, but as I live in wetherby I might not be eligible to apply, also it's quite a distance from me. Looks like I have another summer of cramming every inch of space on my patio with baskets, boxes and anything else I can use to grow my veg in, which is still great fun, I'd just love to grow more!

It's always advisable to have a plot as close to home as possible.
My plot is five minuets walk from my house.

p.s. It's actually better if you are more than 5 minutes away because if you like to get down there to get away from her/him indoors, you need to be further away

But the further away you are the further you are away from a kettle.

I have a wee gas stove and a kettle in my shed. All the home comforts. Well the important ones at any rate

If I had a shed and a stove for making tea I would then be sent out to eat curry there rather than stinking the kitchen out here.
But that would mean I could have curry every day mm
