Phwoar SR! Have spade, will travel!
I was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom boom boom
"Hey" he said "Grab your things
I've come to take you home."

Previous gardener did three days a week but was getting on in years and couldn't stay on top of the veg, fruit, flowers, shrubs, grass, leaves etc.
I only have tocontend with the fruit and veg - and any shruns / cut flowers fot the hotel

AM so so pleased for you......Could'nt happen to a nicer person.
Lots of luck and enjoy it when you have the time.
Wish I had your energy, but...age takes its toll.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

Since when was 45 youthful ??? Trust me, I ache all over every night and by the time we get to June, I'll have shed about two stone in weight and have huge dark shadows under my eyes, skin like leather - but a huge grin on my face every morning when I get up to go to my work

Got a call tonight from a farmer who neighbours my land and he has a walled garden and an old orchard that is mine for the asking so long as he and hgis family can use the veg I grow - so I'm going to see it tomorrow afternoon - will take a camera and post yet more pictures.
