worcestershire help required

would love an allotment/land to work close to bewdley or anything considered worcestershire area.
im a newbie to the veg growing world but got the bug off an old friend just met up with again.
my children have a giant trampaline in the garden so no joy there
please can anyone help me out or give me advice.
i have been on to council for a lotty but cant even go on waiting list as its too long
are there any private land owners around who i/we could rent off
if there are any other frustrated landless worcestershire folk about please get in touch

Hi Sip - have a look through the recent threads. There's a lot there about getting 6 people together to pressure your council into providing more allotments. Good luck!

thanks for advice
we have no allotments at all in our town the ones i was refering to are in the neighbouring towns so what you are saying is that if i approach my local town council with at least 5 others they should try to provide land for allotments???
