Talking of allotments in Birstall, Madderbat was passing the site near the Red Hill roundabout & noticed the they were now back in use where as a year or so ago the were all overgrown.
The river Trent is lovely, I know because I have walked on it for 18 years.

thats 1 of 5 sites that make up belgrave allotment society,everyone has spent a lot of time and effort to acheive it,it is a large site,not for me as it's to much on a slope,they have have been having an open day,in the summer,if you interested when i know about this year,i could pm you,it's a nice time out,home baking,things to buy ext,
