  • empty plot, Gorleston, NORFOLK

I'm going to be stepping on toes here, and speaking out of turn but ...

there is an unused plot on our site. The people in charge are dragging their heels about letting it, even though there's a waiting list.

So, if you are on the Gorleston waiting list, please do some chivvying. The wheel that squeaks loudest is the one that gets oiled

There is an "empty" allotment at the end of my wifes....every now and then though the holder gets a letter and comes on to it to plant something. There's about a dozen cabbages planted last summer and the rest would make excellent grazing for cattle!

The council are all experts at 'bob and weave'. Why do anything when all they have to say is

"We must wait for the allotment holder to come and tell us he/she wants to hand it back".

Result, they sit on their backsides, that plot goes to rack and ruin and is only good for spreading weed seeds to other plots. Cheers, Tony.
