  • Allotments in Solihull/Warwick area.

    Guys and gals,

I live in a place called Chadwick End which is in the Knowle area of Solihull.

I have been trying to find an alltoment for what seems like forever. I've tried the council and have been put onto their lists, but its not looking hopeful.

There was some hope over at Kenilworth, Warwickshire but I'm not allowed a Warwickshire council plot as my council tax gets paid to Solihull.

If anyone can point me in the right direction of a council or private plot in the area, I would be so grateful.

I'm worried another year is about to come and go with no grow!

Don'y worry BM, it's only about 3 houses big if you go up the A46 towards Coventry then come off at the Leamington Turn and head toward Leamington Turn right by the Nuffielfd Hospital and follow the lane round the lotties are just on your way into Leamington/Warwick not sure of the area but the site is both sides of the road.

          wicked, thanks.

I'll go over on Saturday. Any joy with the NSALG rep details?

(By the way, thanks for your help. I know its a pain, but I had no idea how hard it was to get an allotment these days. We should all chip in, buy a field and rent it out as plots!)

Sorry, just worked out what PM means, so yes I've got it.

I went over to to Milverton on Saturday. They are full, but I've put myself on the list. The search continues!

They look nice ones. There are some more in Warwick, only way I can descibe them is into warwick on the mainroad past IBM past the cemetry at the island turn left then it's first right follow that road & they are on the right just before you go over the Railway ( they acrually border the railway) don't know whose they are but is may be wrth a look.

Just off Cape road I think it is

I know exactly the area you mean. (I do clay pigeon shooting about 1/4 mile from there.)

I'll check it out today and let you know.

If you find anywhere in Leamington/Warwick it would be great to hear where has spaces. Did some phoning around the other day, my best result was being number 15 on a list. The longest list had 28 on it!

                        Hi RosyB

I wonder where you've tried? If you e-mail me I'll send you the address of the area NSALG rep, he may know of some spaces. I know there are vacancies neat to HDRA Ryton I guess it depends how far your prepared to travel
