Penwith Allotments

Previously posted requesting allotment space in Penzance. Zero response. So now trying the more wider pitch of 'Penwith'. Does anyone have any land for allotment use in the Penwith area, preferably not too far from Penzance??? There are plenty of people making this request: the Land Share site is saturated with would-be growers in that part of conrwall, but nobody is offering any land. Come on pleeeease people - there must be someone out there who can help ....

Lisa, you'll find that people on here are people looking for land themselves, not people with land to provide.

I guess you've phoned your council for advice? Cornwall County Council, 01872 322000.

there are also privately owned allotments within the area which are run by Bolitho Estates. They can be contacted on 01736 363021. I bet you've tried them too!

Many thanks for info. Yes I know that people on here are looking for land, not offering it. I was just hoping that somebody in the area might have had more success than me and would therfore be able to offer advice. I have tried Penwith council, I am on the waiting list, but I did not know about the Bolitho Esate thing. Will definitely give them a ring - and so again, many thanks.
