  • Manor Garden Allotments VS 2012 Olympics petition

    All,

thought you might be interested in signing this petition - sounds like 'the authorities' are planning on demolishing a very long established lottie site to make way for a path to the 2012 Olympic village

Sorry Grapevine, I was sent this by a competitor site - I hope for the purposes of a good cause, you won't object to me posting a link to it

Have signed too - I know we need to build loads fo the olympics etc and that it's a big event and everything but that doesn't mean that they can tread all over everybody.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Why don't they celebrate the allotment, do a scheme that incorporates it into the Olympics, healthy food = healthy athletes. 5 a day and no drugs in my way! Something like that.
                Best wishes

Thanks for that GV - I've just watched it. Isn't this the site where Rick Stein did a bit with the chap from greece? If so, why can't we get Rick Stein involved? Dexterdog
