  • Project for Aberdeen Allotment Waiting List

Hi, I received a letter this morning for the Aberdeen Forward project re allotment projects in Aberdeen. I have now left the area but if anyone interested in any of the following PM me and I'll give you the contact details.

    1. A plot in Garthdee, for a small number of people who can commit to at least one hour every Saturday to learn from experienced plot holder

    2. Renovation of derelict allotments so can be let out to those on the waiting list - looking for volunteers to help

    3. Garden share scheme

    4. Planting up of Aberdeen's first comunity orchard - Garthdee field allotments, sat 28 march, 11am-20m. Free training in establishing fruit trees. And anyone can come help plant fruit trees and bushes.

Typical things start happening after I leave the city!

Yeah, got the letter too. 2 days after Bucksburn allotments phoned me if I want a space with them.

Ooh, that looks interesting ! Of course I have just discovered I am not likely to be moving back to Aberdeen until the end of the summer so I will likely miss most of these things. But I might manage a wee bittie of number 2...Thanks for posting !
There's no point reading history if you don't use the lessons it teaches.

Head-hunted member of the Nutter's Club - can I get my cranium back please ?

I'm interested in the Garden share Scheme. Any information would be gratefully received.

              regards
