Oh dear, that is sad news. Can you not offer to go along and help pull out the wire or something? At least that way you would be on site and see what is going on.

That's great news mazel-bee. You'll still have time to get crops in and a harvest. Yippee!!

Bad luck Mazel Bee; is there any way you could negotiate with them and offer to do some of the work yourself? Tell them about your seeds and see if they can let you plant them somewhere pro tem. Where there's a will, there's a way you know... Keep breathing

What a shame Mazel Bee. But as Madderbat says, don't just accept it. Try speaking to them, flutter your eyelashes or wiggle your best bits, do your little girlie act and see if you can beg or borrow just a bit for just now. Good luck.

I have already offered my services before the problems occurred, I Think they know my voice now I am sooooo keen I have asked for every possible solution. They are very kind and polite but it just won't be ready for the best part of growing season. Just as my sweetcorn arrived today too. You can't grow that in pots!!

Yes you can! I put 5 plant in a 14" pot lat year, needed watering twice a day and I fed it once a fortnight but it grew, and produced a crop about 2 weeks ahead of the stuff in the main veg bed!

Need to be careful of wind though - it was a bit top heavy.

              Give it a try
The weeks and the years are fine. It's the days I can't cope with!

Don't eat sprouts then you won't suffer with wind

Don't worry about your seed Mazel, put them all in a bargerine tube & stick them in the door of the fridge they will be OK in there for a year or so - in fact some seem to grow better after being frozen first
