    Allotments in Liverpool

    Hello All

    I am on currently on the waiting list for an allotment in South Liverpool but the waiting list is so long *sigh* and I don't have a car so needs to be either local or accessible by bus or train.

    Have also joined Landshare to no avail (so far)

    If anyone has any suggestions for advancing progress or finding a plot, I'd really appreciate it

    Hi Florian,

    Whereabouts in Liverpool are you?
    Which bus/train routes are you on?

    I was really lucky to get a plot straight away, in Halewood, just round the corner. But I know that most of the sites have long waiting lists. If you are able to get to Halewood, I can give you the contact details for a lady who may be able to help you.

      Hello there

      Thank you I am in Aigburth but am happy to travel by train or bus! Will have a look into transport links to Halewood!

            Possible help in finding a plot

            Hi,

            Have you looked at the links to other Society's websites given on the Council webpage? (see below) allotments | Liverpool City Council

            Some sites like Lister Drive L13 (ours) have started to publish the waiting list on the site so everyone can clearly see where they stand in line.

            You can apply to join our list via a downloadable form and email (and the 68 bus stops on Green Lane if no nearer site can help you).

              Yes, I have thank you I am on the waiting list for the 2 allotments near me (The third are not taking names anymore) Also spoke to LCC and they couldn't really help. Bah!
