Hi everyone,
I'm a volunteer on a community allotment project called 'woodscape' in Bradley near Huddersfield.
The allotment is a joint project between volunteers. We generally meet on a Saturday morning and work on the allotment for a couple of hours. It's a large area so we all work on it and all reap the rewards. Any excess crops are sold on to other groups within 'woods cape' (walking groups and woodland management). This money then goes on to buy seeds and supplies for us.
