Allotments Waiting List - Glasgow Southside

For those who have gone through the process, are you able to give me any pointers on the waiting lists for allotments in the Glasgow southside area? I imagine the ones in Pollok Park, Dumbreck and Queens Park have huge lists.

I'm about to apply to some within a few miles of my home (I don't have a car) so perhaps Pollokshields up to Merrilee, down to Cathcart/Kings Park.

One had the contact address of the allotment that's in the middle of a park - how on earth do they get letters....?
