Vacancies in east Bristol

Bristol East Allotment Association has a number of vacant plots on various sites in and around BS5. For some reason, Bristol City Council isn't passing this information on to people on the waiting lists for the council sites

I've been told that all the waiting lists are basically collapsing in Bristol this year- there's several vacant plots on my site, and even the council website shows quite a lot of sites without waiting lists.

maybe the word is getting out that our wonderful new Mayor has allotments in his gunsights... apparently he wants them all to be self-funding... which can only mean rents are going to go through
the roof...
