Hi - my sister in law is interested in getting an allotment. She lives in Alyth, near Blairgowrie. Does anyone know of any allotments in this area? Thank you.

Thanks alldidgging - we found those pages as well. Doesn't look very promising. I just wondered if anyone lived in the area and might know some privately owned allotments seeing as the council doesn't have any.

You could ask local councillors - they're usually in the know. Or even whoever deals with council allotments for the wider area - they too will generally know where has private ones.
