Things are looking good
Been down to the plot three times this week. Planted/sowed each time as well as construction work and tidying, plus the last bit of digging. Still tons to do, though. Despite having dug in a couple of truckloads of stuff last year, part of the plot (where the topsoil was a bit thin) has solid chunks of clay lying around now that the ground is so dry.
Site was buzzing at times - so different from the quietness of last Spring when half of it was unoccupied. It's amazing how much the newcomers have achieved from scratch in the last month. Gives us all a boost.

Well done! It's amazing what can be achieved on what seems to be poor land. We have dug up loads of rock (some paving slab sized ) and in our first year (last year) we had some amazingly good crops.
Please keep posting the photos, it is great to see what you are achievingLast edited by Peppermint; 04-05-2013, 09:28 PM.

Progress so far
Things are now starting to grow, I have potatoes, onions and cabbages. Have now got a chicken wire fence up, things are looking good.

Hey! We're full! (Assuming that the people I negotiated with at the weekend actually take up the last plot - but they did seem keen). A huge advance over the last six months and you can see the difference on the site. So many people working so hard!
