Plot in or around Salford Bolton

Hi I'm looking for a plot on an allotment or a small piece of land to rent for growing veg flowers etc . Who would of thought how hard this would be and how hard to get the council to reply . If anyone can help me please get in touch I live in the little Hulton area of Manchester hope someone can help . Thanks

Have you identified a site near you? Have you been down there and spoken to plotholders? Then you might find out the best way of making contact and who you need to speak to.

That any use? They advertised on the permaculture newsletter this week that they have spaces.

Manchester Council no longer has an Allotment officer so trying to access a plot via the council is hopeless.
The best thing to do is locate one or more sites near you and visit. Most of them seem to manage their own waiting lists.
The normal visiting times are Sunday morning usually between about 11 and 12 but this may vary somewhat from site to site.
If you follow this link you should be able to locate your nearest sites.
