looking for private/council allotment - staffordshire

Hi, I am really struggling to find any allotments or waiting lists in my area, thought I found one in Cheadle, Staffs (about 3 miles from Tean where I live) but i'm apparently not eligible for these as not living in their parish.
My parish has no council allotment plots!
Searched on the internet but finding it very hard to find private owned ones
Would really appreciate any help

Hi Emma. If you can't find anything on Landshare, just have a look around your local area. We got our field literally by finding a piece of land we noticed wasn't being cultivated. Asking at the nearest house gave us the name of the landowner and it all went from there.
