HI, I'm looking for either a private allotment or piece of land from someone in the Aberdeen/shire area. I'm on the council waiting list but who knows how long will that take? anyone with any info please get in touch. thanks Adam

which waiting list are you on Adam, City or Shire? I know there are at least 4 vacant City allotments in Bucksburn. I vacated three of them and my pal the other and they remain unlet but you need to live in the City to be allowed to take these on. There is a private site just off Auchmill Road where I am now. Not sure if there are any vacancies presently but pm me if you want the contact details. Our site has the advantage over the City Allotments of having security fencing and the Council plots have none although we still have problems with vandals and our rents are cheaper. We also allow folks from the shire
