Covered up some cabbages with wire netting to keep pigeons off. Killed a rat with the air rifle. Serves it right for eating the hearts out of my cabbages!
Watered stuff in greenhouse and odd plants that looked a bit limp outdoors.
Put down rat poison, baited a trap and left for home.My Majesty made for him a garden anew in order
to present to him vegetables and all beautiful flowers.- Offerings of Thutmose III to Amon-Ra (1500 BCE)

Cut some planting holes into the cardboard covering the new lottie and planted out some pumpkins and squashes. Weeded round the fruit patch. Hunted down and destroyed some asparagus beetles. Covered my leeks and onions to stop whatever from eating them........S*d the housework I have a lottie to dig

Nothing today but look at the rain and think about all the things I could have been doing outside.
Yesterday however I transplanted my celery (not hopeful) and then I transplanted my sunflower plants back after the fencemen had dug em up for me, also planted heleniums, lavender and nasturtiums.
ETA: oh and I finally did my hanging basket with Tumbling Toms, curly parsley and French marigold.
Tomorrow I am doing my peas!Last edited by Helgalush; 17-06-2011, 07:47 PM.

Planted some french beans and added the remaining beans in the packet to trhe rows as well. Dug over a small pocket and planted some leeks.
Started weeding my herb bed and the mixed aromas were quite pleasant!
Appear to be on top of most things now on my two plots..............apart from the weeds of course! My Majesty made for him a garden anew in order
