Apples and Crows

I've a problem with crows attacking my apple trees, I've tried hanging cd's and foil containers from the branches in the past with no luck, has anyone any tricks that work

What sort of damage are they doing?

I've had a lot of Blackbirds and Thrushes (with wasps last month) eating the red ripe area. The crows are landing on the tree, but not doing much. Wind fall apples eaten by rabbits and all sorts of critters.

Blackbirds peck the apples here but I don't mind - there are plenty to share.

The crows are pecking at the apples on the tree, when you get about half a dozen crows working their way around the tree there's not many undamaged ones left

The only sure way would be to net an area of the tree.
