  • Cornelian Cherry (Cornus Mas)

In the link VC posted, https://www.agroforestry.co.uk/product-category/plants/, they have named varieties.

Have looked for previously after reading a Bob Flowerdew book years ago, then in vain.

Anyone any experience as to cropping and flavour please? They look as if will be decorative if nothing else.

Found this Polish site, it's in English, whilst hacking. Some interesting reading. Nanking Cherry (Prunus tomentosa looks interesting.

Sorry folks, senior moment, forgot to post link for Polish site!

    Carya nursery - Catalogue

    It's worth a read.

Can't find a supplier of white Prunus Tomentosa here.

Sorry VC they all appear to be red fruited Tomentosas.

On Carya's Nanking Cherry page there's a white berried cv and a named red one. I thought white one would be useful as birds might leave it alone, at least for a while.

I'd guessed it was white flowers, not white fruit! Hadn't seen your link, Danny.
