Blackberries from the freezer has gone into a quick crumble tonight. Yum!

Me and the birds are sharing a large shopping bag full of "delicious" apples(they get the dodgy looking ones)

Still have 5trays of paper wrapped apples in the barn.
One freezer is full of kilos of stewed apples, pears, black cherries,some raspberries, some rhubarb a few gooseberries and maybe enough blackcurrants for a couple of crumbles.
I also have some plums in Le Parfait preserving jars

Apple crumble..

What's left has started to turn very fast over the last week.

Tupstones - chewy and unpleasant and are heading to the compost.
The last M25 Bramley is destined for puree tomorrow.

That'll be the end of the fresh fruit . I really need to increase my stocks of long keepers.

We still have about 5large trays of apples stored in the barn. Still not gone wrinkly but the occasional one needs hoiking out each week.
I really should concentrate on eating those rather than the ones in the freezer!
