Will blackberry pruning root ?

Between my plot and next door is a row of blackberry plants which need pruning.

Will prunings root easily ?

Is there a difference between brown stem cuttings , hardwood and the more green end prunings.

I want to use the cuttings along my house, recent earthworks to the neighbouring land means my garden wall is easily climbed over. Previously thick undergrowth was there, but no longer.

Use the end and try to stop it from rooting(you could also put the tip in a glass of water whilst it is still connected)
Full of Testerone?, so is the Blackberry.
You could just bury the tip(still attached), it will root.

If it were me I’d bend over a few of the excess branches into large pots of compost. They will take a few weeks to root then you can safely cut them off and grown on before planting at home.

Cuttings can be rooted but burying the tips will be quicker.

Think I'll take several stem cuttings and just stick them next to my house wall, then as standby option, try the tip layering technique too.

Tip layering will likely be quicker than cuttings.

If you check around the plants you may find already rooted "cuttings". I wouldn't bother with stem cuttings, tips are much quicker and easier.
