My greengage is loosing fruit

Hi can anyone tell me why my greengage fruit are dropping off my tree already please.

is this one you've grown from a pip/stone?

Stress and its ability to survive.

Has it been too hot? too cold? too many for it to grow on?

Failing that, they may just not have been properly pollinated.

Bit early for fruit on a plum tree - if you mean Little tiny fruit-lets turning yellow and falling off - then those are ones which were not pollinated.

This early, incomplete pollination is pretty much the only cause. Or possibly a late frost
Do the fruit look very dark green, brown or black? If so, it'll be frost. If they look a normal shade of green or a bit yellow, then it's incomplete pollination.
