A problem new to me or I can't remember seeing this problem before on the blackberry canes but I am sure others will have and can adive me please.
I have just noticed rust and white fly on the last years leaves on all my Oregon thornless blackberry plants. The whitefly is spreading to the new leaves as well.
Can I cut off the old leaves reduce the spread to the new shoots?
After cutting the leaves off should I spray the plants with something, if so, what can I use. I think I have some old insectide in the shed and maybe a fungicide so can I use both at the same time or should I spray a few days apart?
Thanks.
