And now.... vine weevil

Put upside down decking board off cuts I had in the greenhouse. Seem to be getting 2 vine weevils a day total under them, not sure if Im happy to be getting rid of some or annoyed that there are so many

I have been using compost with some pest killer in it which has so far seamed to help. [pushing my luck writing that] Discovered that I am not supposed to use it on fruit but it has done us no harm so far.

I'm With fishpond although I completely submerge mine for 2days in a trug of water. I figure that that is no worse than the monsoon rain we've been having lately, and then dry out the pots. If you suspect you still have the evil weevil then do it again a fortnight later. At the moment I can report no ill effect to my plants... Am I just lucky?
