Has anyone grown a Coffee plant?

L1dl are selling them tomorrow - as well as Lemon, Banana, Strawberry and tomato plants.

Tempted by the Coffee and the Lemon plants. I failed with Bananas a couple of years back.

So, my question is - has anyone grown a Coffee plant, and what is it like?

At a guess, it tastes like Cocoa.
I will need to have a look at those, (there's my pocket money gone again ) whilst I pick up a couple of lemons.

Having now read up on Coffee plants, I will pass on the coffee and just go for the Lemons!

Oh dear, here we go again. I Sowed a few seeds (proper seeds, not roasted beans) a couple of years ago but nothing came of it.

My banana dies as well.

Think my lemon has popped its cloggs.

Might go shopping on my way home.

I remember the banana episode., Jay-ell. I was chasing all over the city for a banana plant, and all the stores had sold out. Eventually, I found a couple but they never had pups like yours...….and they died.
It was fun while it lasted.

My two lemon trees died this year. Tried tea seeds, they didn't germinate . Tried dates they didn't germinate.
Whatever happened to the misery thread.

I'm still up for a go at growing coffee, but it must be Nescaffe!
