Sounds great...though to be fair, the only mulberries I've tried were heavily coated in chocolate so too sure what they'd taste like on their own?

My mother-in-law has a couple of trees, and the fruits taste almost like honey to me. Sweet and thick without a lot of balacing acidity.

Incidentally, I just bought a Charlotte Russe. Local garden centres have been trying to sell them for £30, and there was no way I was going to pay that, but the autumn discounting has started and today I saw a few nice big plants heavily discounted. Autumn is the best time to buy at the local garden centre.... looking forward to finding out if the taste is anywhere close to a normal mulberry.
