Strawberries flowering for 2nd time this year

My strawberries, in open ground, are flowering for 2nd time this year, having produced fruit in June. Should I remove these flowers to help the plants to build themselves up for next year, or will it make no difference to the plants?

I have a few on mine, as they are in their first year as plants I will remove them if there are too many, a couple on each plant should be ok.

Was thinking of asking the same question myself yesterday, but then just toke them all off as wont come to anything outside now
