Ken Muir's minarette fruit trees

What I'd like to know if anyone has achieved minarette trees as good as those shown in the catalogues.
It's probably easy with a team of paid gardeners 24/7 and we don't know about the duff ones that didn't make it.
I chopped down a medlar and an Illinois Everbearing Mulberry as they failed to live up to their descriptions.
A thornless tayberry and Waldo blackberry are likely to go into the shredder soon.
I have a cornelian cherry and a persimmon heeled in, I've not given up even at 72!Riddlesdown (S Croydon)
