Advice needed - broken branch dwarf peach

Hi all
I took delivery of 4 dwarf fruit trees today, unfortunately I have a broken branch on my peach, its a fairly substantial branch considering the size of the tree and I feel like I've lost a massive chunk of it
I was just wondering what the best way to approach this was?
Once the polytunnel is up it will be spending late spring & summer out and the rest in the tunnel, for the meantime I'll be leaving it out during dry weather & bringing it in to the house on wet days to hide from the rain in an unheated room, does this sound OK?

I would contact the seller and see if you can get a replacement.

Thank you Scarlet, I will do. I did think about it but wasn't sure if I was over reacting so figured I'd pop it on here to see if there was anything that could be done.

I've "bandaged" a broken apple tree branch with sellotape. It worked!

Its always worth asking the seller. It looks like its still joined slightly, I would take a lot of photos, and then duct tape it together, it may knit up x

I'll give it a go, best case scenario I get a fixed tree, worst case scenario I wrap my finger in too and become part of the tree

There are a lot of dead looking branch tips which could do with 'tidying up'.

I would probably cut off the broken bit and cut all the other branches back to a similar length which should get rid of the dead bits and start all branches at the same size after it is planted.

I would be very disappointed in receiving a tree like that. I would take lots of photos and contact the seller.

How much did they cost?
